1. Who we are
"5 Star", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the 5 Star business transformation and AI solutions practice operating this website at joinfivestar.co.uk. You can contact us at contact@joinfivestar.co.uk. We are based and operate in the United Kingdom.
2. Our services
We provide bespoke B2B engagements across AI strategy & advisory, AI solution deployment & management, business transformation (project management, operational restructuring, or full business management), and website build & maintenance. Because engagements are bespoke, the exact scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or agreement, not on this website.
3. How engagements start
There is no online checkout or automated sign-up on this site. Every engagement begins with a direct conversation, initiated by email, and is only confirmed once both parties have agreed a written proposal. These general terms apply alongside — and do not override — anything specifically agreed in that proposal.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are agreed per engagement and set out in the relevant proposal, along with invoicing frequency and payment terms. Any pricing shown on this website is indicative guide pricing only and is not a binding quotation.
5. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to intellectual property you already own and provide to us as part of an engagement. Ownership of new deliverables created during an engagement (for example, software, workflows, or content) will be set out in the relevant proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, we retain rights to our own pre-existing tools, methods, and know-how used to deliver the work.
6. Confidentiality
We treat information you share with us about your business as confidential, and will not disclose it to third parties except where necessary to deliver the engagement, where you've agreed we can, or where required by law.
7. Liability
We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from our services. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
8. Termination
Termination rights for a specific engagement are set out in that engagement's proposal. In the absence of a specific term, either party may end an ongoing engagement with reasonable written notice.
9. Governing law
These terms, and any engagement entered into with us, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these general terms from time to time; the version published on this page is the current one. Changes will not apply retroactively to an engagement already confirmed under a written proposal.
